Herbert Chiout

Herbert Chiout (born October 12, 1910 in Kassel ; † July 21, 2010 ibid) was a teacher and educationalist .

Chiout was, among other things, head of the Kassel branch of the Hessian Institute for Teacher Training (HILF), worked at the German Institute for International Educational Research (DIPF) and was a lecturer in educational science at the University of Kassel . He wrote school pedagogical texts on "School trials in the Federal Republic of Germany, about clerkship and lesson preparation and assessment, and was co-editor of several collections of poetry for elementary school and secondary level I".

Chiout was also "an artist who was primarily inspired by Expressionism and who created a considerable oeuvre of images that he gladly made available to his friends in annual private exhibitions."
