Badisch red gold

Badisch Rotgold is a wine from Baden , which is also called Badischer Rotling . The must weight of the base material must have reached at least the quality wine level (QbA = quality wine from certain growing areas ). May be used only grapes of white wine grape variety Pinot Gris (51% min.) And the red wine grape Pinot Noir (max. 49%). Badisch Rotgold is made by blending the grapes or mashing them ; the blending takes place before the alcoholic fermentation .

The Schillerwein is made in a similar way.
