Badischer Sportbund Freiburg
The Badischer Sportbund Freiburg eV , based in Freiburg, is the umbrella organization for sport in southern Baden. It was founded on November 19, 1949 and is one of the founding members of the German Sports Association . Today he is only an indirect member of the German Olympic Sports Confederation through the Baden-Württemberg State Sports Association . It has 51 professional sports associations with more than 3,200 sports clubs and a total of over 920,000 members.
The BSB coordinates the training of instructors and coaches for its member associations in the Steinbach sports school . He trains executives for clubs and professional associations and processes grant applications for sports equipment, sports facilities and exercise instructors. He publishes the monthly association magazine BSB-Info .
