Bagneux - Lucie Aubrac is the name of a planned underground station on line 4 of the Paris Métro . It will be located in Bagneux , Hauts-de-Seine department , a few kilometers south of the Paris city limits. The main entrance is said to be on Avenue Henri-Barbusse. A side entrance is to be built on Avenue de Stalingrad.

The station is scheduled to open in 2021. It is part of the extension of three stations from Porte d'Orléans to Bagneux. The start of the project for the 2.7 kilometer stretch was in January 2001, the public display from January to March 2004. The first construction work began in late 2005 / early 2006. The first section to Mairie de Montrouge was commissioned on March 23, 2013 . The project is financed by the state, the region, the municipalities and the RATP . The construction work for the last 1.9 km long section to Bagneux began in 2014 and should be completed by 2021 after several construction delays.

The provisional name was Bagneux . A previously unseen process was used to finally find the name. A public online voting was launched, giving everyone the opportunity to vote for a favorite within a month. More than 30,000 people took part in the vote. The criteria for the name were that the names should relate to the location and should not be too long. On June 19, 2018, Ile-de-France Mobilités announced that it had chosen the name Lucie Aubrac, which is attached to Bagneux. The choice of a woman's name was very much welcomed, as only seven of the 303 stations on the Paris Métro have a woman's name. In addition to Lucie Aubrac , there were also Champ des oiseaux and Nina Simone to choose from. In the same vote, a search was also made for the neighboring station, which is to be completed in the same construction phase. Here the decision fell on Barbara , also a woman.

There is a possibility to change to the station Bagneux the RER B enter. In addition, the future line 15 of Métro Paris will also have a stop at the Bagneux station.
