Bagré reservoir

The Bagré Reservoir is a lake in Burkina Faso .

location

It was created by the damming of the Nakambé (White Volta) in the southeast of the West African state. The dam was put into use in 1993 and is operated by SONABEL .

tourism

The reservoir created a unique landscape in Burkina Faso, which is now also used for tourism. A tourist center was built between the town of Bagré and the bank of the reservoir, which, thanks to its location, has a very spacious sandy beach.
