The Bahía Pelletan ( Spanish , in Argentina Bahía Briand ) is a side bay of the Bay of Flanders on the Danco coast of Graham Land on the Antarctic Peninsula . It is located south of the Bahía Wilson , from which it separates the Pelletan Point . The Goodwin Glacier flows into it.
Chilean scientists named it after the name of the neighboring headland. Its namesake is the French politician Charles Camille Pelletan (1846–1915), French Minister of the Navy from 1902 to 1905. Argentine scientists, however, named it after the Briand Fjord further north . Its namesake is the multiple French Prime Minister Aristide Briand (1862-1932).
