The Bahía Román ( Spanish , in Argentina Bahía Migliardo ) is a bay on the south coast of Low Island in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . It is located about 5 km southwest of Cape Hooker .

Chilean scientists named it after Jorge Román Pérez, captain of the Angamos on the 12th Chilean Antarctic Expedition (1957-1958). The background of the Argentine naming is not known.
