The Bahai Center Austria is the center and the administrative seat of the Austrian Bahai community. It is located in the 14th district of Penzing in Vienna at Maroltingergasse 2.

Building

The Art Nouveau building was erected in 1903 as the officers' mess for the Breitenseer barracks . Since 2010, the house, which was previously renovated, has housed the approximately 1200 members of the Austrian Baha'i community. As such, it was opened with a ceremony on October 15, 2010.

In the Bahai Center Austria, among others, the National Spiritual Council of the Baha'i and the local Spiritual Council of the Baha'i are based in Vienna. Public events take place several times a month, including lectures, panel discussions, interreligious dialogues and celebrations. The house consists of a large ballroom, a small ballroom, a library, several seminar rooms, a children's room, the secretariat and a larger garden.
