Bahij Bey al-Chatib ( French Bahij el-Khatib , Arabic بهيج الخطيب, DMG Bahīǧ al-Ḫaṭīb ; * 1895 in Damascus , Vilâyet Syria ; † 1981 ibid) was a Syrian trader and politician.

Born under the Ottoman rule , the Sunni received his education on Mount Lebanon and worked as an oil seller in Beirut before entering politics. From July 10, 1939 to September 16, 1941, Bahij Bey was the Syrian head of state appointed by France . He was extremely loyal and reliable to the ongoing French administration, and opposed any pursuit of independence.
