The station Blaufelden is an operating agency of the railway line Crailsheim-Königshofen . It is located in Blaufelden in the Schwäbisch Hall district in Baden-Württemberg . From 1900 to 1996 it was a separation station where the Blaufelden – Langenburg railway branched off.

history

The station building was built in 1869. On October 23, 1869, the Royal Württemberg State Railways opened the station with the Crailsheim - Mergentheim section .

From 1900 to 1996, the approximately 12-kilometer-long railway line to Langenburg branched off from Blaufelden station ; passenger traffic on the branch line was discontinued as early as 1963. The route is to however still in train fares paid .

The station building in Blaufelden was auctioned in 2013 and then renovated. A mechanical signal box of the standard design is housed in the reception building, from which the points and form signals of the station are set via double-wire cables.

Monument protection

The former reception building is located at Bahnhofstrasse 18 . As another monument, it is a listed building and is part of the Bad Mergentheim – Crailsheim railway line: Württemberg Taubertal Railway with stations, ancillary buildings, bridges, track systems and all stationary and movable accessories.
