history

Until the 19th century

Blaufelden was first mentioned in a document in 1157. It originally belonged to the Werdeck lordship of the Lords of Hohenlohe and came from these in 1371 to Kraft III. von Hohenlohe-Weikersheim, then in 1399 to the burgraves of Nuremberg , who incorporated it into the Principality of Ansbach . From 1500 Blaufelden was part of Ansbach in the Franconian Empire . In 1806 the place fell to the Kingdom of Bavaria in the course of the mediatization due to the Reichsdeputationshauptschluss , but already came four years later to the Kingdom of Württemberg and was subordinate to the Oberamt Gerabronn .

20th century

During the administrative reform during the Nazi era in Württemberg , Blaufelden came to the Crailsheim district in 1938 . Since the place had become part of the American occupation zone after the Second World War , it had belonged to the newly founded state of Württemberg-Baden since 1945 , which was incorporated into the current state of Baden-Württemberg in 1952. In 1973 the district reform took place in Baden-Württemberg , when Blaufelden came to the district of Schwäbisch Hall.

The Royal Württemberg State Railways built the station building in Raboldshausen as a type IIa unit station . Passenger traffic on the branch line was stopped as early as 1963.
