Herrentierbach is a village in the municipality of Blaufelden in the Schwäbisch Hall district , Baden-Württemberg.
geography
Herrentierbach is located on the Hohenlohe plain about in the middle of the square of the cities of Bad Mergentheim , Crailsheim , Künzelsau and Rothenburg ob der Tauber .
The village runs at a height of about 435- 465 m above sea level. NN from the valley over the slope up to the left edge of the Tierbach hill , which joins the Eselsbach to the Ette 2–3 km further downstream in the north .
The village has about 400 inhabitants.
history
The Lords of Tierbach , who built Herrentierbach Castle on the hill west of the valley, sat there . It was from the Rothenburgern in the 14./15. Destroyed in the 19th century, so that today only the moat can be seen.
In addition to the main town, Alkertshausen , Geroldshausen, Kottmannsweiler and Simmetshausen belonged to the former municipality of Herrentierbach .
On January 1, 1975, Herrentierbach was incorporated into Blaufelden.

- Behind the town hall is a barn, which was converted into a community center in 1990, which is used not only by the residents, but also by the surrounding area for all kinds of festivities ( wedding , confirmation , communion, etc.).
