The station Charles-de-Gaulle - Étoile is a tunnel station of the Réseau express régional d'Île-de-France . It is located under the Place Charles de Gaulle and the RER A serves. The Charles de Gaulle - Étoile station of the Paris Métro is connected to the station .
history
The station was opened on January 19, 1970 with the commissioning of the western branch of line A between La Défense and Étoile. In 1977 the line via Châtelet - Les Halles to Nation was extended and the line completed.
