Todays situation

After the lines between Dannenberg, Lüchow, Uelzen and Wittenberge were closed, the station was dismantled. So today there are still both platforms, but only the main platform is served. The track next to it leads to the loading station. The building was renovated in 2012 by the city of Dannenberg and the Wendland social welfare organization. The JuniorBahnhof, a facility of the Lüchow-Dannenberg church district , sells tickets and operates a kiosk. The station is manned by a dispatcher.

Loading station for Castor transports

About one kilometer behind the train station in the direction of Wittenberg, at the end of the route, there is the loading station for Castor transports.
