Miho Fukuhara ( Japanese 福 原 美 穂 , Fukuhara Miho ; born June 19, 1987 in Sapporo , Japan ) is a Japanese J-Pop singer.

life and career

As a first experience, Miho Independent made at Yumechika Records , which is located in Sapporo, and released her debut single The Roots and her first extended play called Step Out EP . Spotted by Sony Music Entertainment Japan , she was also signed to and released her first song, Because You Loved Me , on a Celine Dion Tribute album released in Japan. She sings fluently in English and Japanese . She was also active on the Japanese radio show One Love in 2006.

Several publications followed over time.

On January 28, 2009, Miho released her first studio album, Rainbow . The album comes with twelve tracks and five music videos, and with Rainbow she also took second place for the first time on the daily and weekly Oricon charts. In total, the album sold over 93,000 times, making it their most successful record.

On June 13, 2012, she released her first compilation, The Best of Soul Extreme , which was followed by a duet, Save Me , with European artist Leona Lewis . There were also duets with Ai , Akiko Wada , Chara or Daichi Miura . The album debuted at number 10 on the weekly Oricon charts and sold 5,920 times in the first week, after three weeks sales were 10,247 units. Thus, The Best of Soul Extreme was at number 43 on the monthly Oricon charts for June 2012. A music video was also shot for Save Me . The music video shows excerpts from the recordings of Save Me .

At the beginning of 2013 it was announced that she would be the new front woman, alongside singer / rapper Logiq Price , of the global pop project Sweetbox . Both recorded the first joint studio album entitled Z21 . The first single # Z21 (# Zeitgeist21) was released in June 2013. Shortly thereafter, Miho released her next single, Rising Heart / Beyond .
