The Delfzijl Station is a railhead on the Groningen-Delfzijl railway in the Dutch province of Groningen . It is the main train station in Delfzijl and was opened on June 15, 1884.

history

Trains used to run on the Zuidbroek – Delfzijl railway line (1910–1934) and via Woldjerspoor via Duurswold to Groningen (1929–1941).

A covered bicycle parking space was built in December 2009.

Station building

The station building in the so-called standard type Sneek was built in five different locations in the 1880s. Of these, those in Delfzijl, Sneek and Tiel are still preserved.
