The Novi Beograd station ( Serbian Железничка станица Нови Београд Železnička stanica Novi Beograd ) is one of the three main railway stations Belgrade and currently the only one in the major project of the railway junction of Belgrade is also served by long-distance transport. The through station, designed as the central station of the Novi Beograd district , is intended in particular to enable high-speed train connections within the Pan-European Transport Corridor X and to connect the Belgrade S-Bahn Beovoz to long-distance rail traffic in Belgrade.

The station is located directly on the Pan-European Transport Corridor X and the E10 motorway. It is an integral part of the railway corridor X and is connected to the public transport system in Belgrade via trams and buses. This means that the station is currently the best-connected long-distance train station in the city. The Bulevar Milutina Milankovica runs parallel to the station in the north and the Bulevar Jurija Gagarina in the south . The station is also directly connected to the Bulevar Spanskih boraca and Bulevar Proleterske solidarnosti .

The new Novi Beograd train station has been an integral part of the major project of the Belgrade railway junction since 1977. In addition to the central station , it is the second mainstay of the city's railway junction.
