The Wallhausen (Württ) station , today just a stop , is an operating point on the Crailsheim – Königshofen line . It is located in Wallhausen in the Schwäbisch Hall district in Baden-Württemberg .
history
On October 23, 1869, the Royal Württemberg State Railways opened the station with the Crailsheim - Mergentheim section .
The former station building is now privately owned.
After the success in Satteldorf, an interest group also fought for the reactivation of the Wallhausen (Württ) stop , which took place on December 15, 2013 after several delays.
The newly built platform is located to the west of the old reception building in the area of the former loading tracks at the goods shed.
Monument protection
The former reception building is located at Bahnhofstrasse 9 and is a listed building . It is part of the totality of the railway line Bad Mergentheim – Crailsheim: Württemberg Taubertal Railway with stations, auxiliary buildings, bridges, track systems and all stationary and movable accessories.
