The Xi'an – Yan'an railway is a projected high-speed line in the People's Republic of China between the cities of Xi'an , capital of the Chinese province of Shaanxi , and Yan'an in the north of the province.

The National Development and Reform Commission approved the construction of the line on December 26, 2018. The route is Template: future / in 3 yearsscheduled to open in 2023 .

The electrified , route will be 292 km long. The estimated cost of construction is 55.2 billion Renminbi (7.1 billion euros ).
