The Baker Knob is a small, rounded hills with steep sloping eastern slope at the east end of Thurston Island off the coast of the West Antarctic Ellsworth Land . It rises 3 km north of the Harrison Nunatak .
The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named him after T. W. Baker, photographer of the Eastern Group of the United States Navy at Operation Highjump (1946-1947), who created aerial photographs of Thurston Island and the adjacent coastal areas.
