Bakoteh

Bakoteh (spelling variant: Bakoti ) is a district of the municipality Kanifing ( English Kanifing Municipal ) in the West African state of Gambia .

The district is located in the west of the municipality and belongs to the place Serekunda . In the 1993 census, Bakoteh was listed as a separate place with 6594 inhabitants.

The district of Manjai Kunda is adjacent in the northeast, the border is defined by the main road that leads from Kotu to Sayerr Jobe Avenue . Serekunda (as a district) is in the east, the border runs straight south from Sayerr Jobe Avenue. Bakoteh borders a little to the east at the Bundung Borehole district . The border of the municipality of Kanifing runs in the south and southwest, with the neighboring villages of Sukuta and Kerr Seringe Ngaga . The district of Kololi borders in the north and is bordered by Bakoteh by Kololi Road .
