Serekunda (district)

Serekunda is a district of the municipality Kanifing ( English Kanifing Municipal ) in the West African state of Gambia .

The district is located in the center of the municipality and belongs to the place of the same name Serekunda . In the 1993 census, Serekunda was listed as a separate place with 18901 inhabitants.

The district of New Jeshwang is neighboring in the northeast, the border is defined by the Kombo Sillah Drive . In the southeast is Eboe Town , this district is also beyond the Kombo Sillah Drive. Bundung Six Junction is located in the south of the Serekunda district and in the southwest of the Bundung Borehole . In the west lies the district of Bakoteh , a little bit Serekunda borders Manjai Kunda in the northwest . Dippa Kunda is located north of Serekunda, the Sayerr Jobe Avenue delimits the districts. A small piece of Latri Kunda borders Serekunda in the north at Westfield Junction .
