The film shows a blowout (colloquially Azerbaijani neft fontanı , literally " oil fountain") with drilling rigs on an oil field near the village of Balaxanı , now part of the Sabunçu district of Baku .
Background information
The film was using the technique of Cinématographe the Lumière brothers received and under the catalog number 1035 published.
