Baldur Ragnarsson (born August 25, 1930 in Reyðarfjörður ; † December 25, 2018 ) was an Icelandic Esperanto writer.

Life

Baldur learned Esperanto in 1949. As a poet he made his debut in 1958 in the Esperanta Antologio . From 1980 he was Vice President of the Universala Esperanto-Asocio and thereafter its honorary member. He was a teacher of Icelandic and English at a high school in Reykjavík .

Baldur Ragnarsson was a member of the Esperanto Academy .
