The Musk Rose Ballerina was introduced by Bentall (GB) in 1937. It is a modern shrub rose with a wild rose character. As a Rosa-Moschata hybrid it is permanent flowering; its fragrant, simple pink flowers with fair eyes are small and clustered together in lush clusters. It has light green foliage and is easy to care for - therefore very popular in gardens and public areas.

Its shoots have almost no spines. 'Ballerina' has an elegant appearance, is 1 m high and can be combined well with the clematis 'Pink Fantasy'.
