The Ballester Point (English; Bulgarian носът Балестер nosat Balester ) is a headland on the south coast of Livingston Island in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . In South Bay it forms the south side of the entrance to the Johnson's Dock .
British mappings date from 1822 and 1968. Spanish scientists made detailed surveys in 1991. The Bulgarian Commission for Antarctic Geographical Names named it after the Spanish chemist Antonio Ballester Nolla, one of the lead scientists of the Spanish Antarctic program.
