Ballgames is a sports game collection for game consoles that contains 60 variants of pong . It was launched in 1976 under various names, including Paddle Games , Pro Sport 60 , Bat & Ball , Super Sport and Olympics , for consoles based on the Signetics 2650A microprocessor . These included the 1292 Advanced Programmable Video System , the Interton VC 4000 or the Hanimex HMG 2650 .

Gameplay

Similar to Atari's Video Olympics , this title contains a collection of 60 pong variations that bring popular ball sports to TV . The division is:

The variants arise from the different levels of difficulty of the games in five levels (for ball games : beginners, progress, professionals, trick 1, trick 2). The levels of difficulty influence the speed of the ball and the angle of flight; the player himself has the necessary manipulation options at the trick levels. The games can be played alone or in pairs and, depending on the variant, with or against each other.

Development and publication

The game's genesis and release history is sketchy. Ball games for the Interton VC 4000 was released as module number 3. As with many games for the VC 4000, two matching cardboard templates were included for the controller to make operation easier.
