The Bally Glacier is a 10 km long glacier in the Antarctic Ross Dependency . It occupies the central part of the Carlstrom Foothills in the Churchill Mountains and flows north along the eastern flank of Mount Blick to the Jorda Glacier .
The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named him in 2003 after John Bally of the Center for Astrophysics and Astronomy at the University of Colorado Boulder , 1992-1995 chief scientist of the United States Antarctic Program's expanded telescope project at the Amundsen-Scott South Pole Station .
