Banda Cheiro de Amor
Banda Cheiro de Amor or Banda Cheiro is a Brazilian Axé band from Bahia .
Career
The Cheiro de Amor group came into being with the first Sambareggae groups in Bahia such as Luis Caldas, Banda Mel , Olodum , Chiclete com Banana , Daniela Mercury and others. It was originally designed as a carnival block in Salvador da Bahia , from which the music group Pimenta de Cheiro was formed. The founding date of the band is given as 1987. Well-known singers such as Laurinha, Márcia Freire and Carla Visi, who later began a solo career, sang in the group. In particular with Márcia Freire, the group had their greatest successes on the Brazilian music market.
In 2004 Alinne Rosa (born March 28, 1982 in Itabuna ), actually Alinne Oliveira Santos, joined the band as the new lead singer. Her greatest hits include songs like "Auê", "Rebentão", "Lero Lero", "Doce obsessão", "Vai Sacudir Vai Abalar", "Pense em Mim" and "Pureza da paixão".
