From ancient times there was a fountain in the market. In 1772, instead of the wooden one, a marble fountain with a statue of the Virgin Mary was erected as a crown, but the stone had not proven itself, which is why the fountain was removed again in 1802 and replaced by a wooden one. In 1908, however, a fountain in Untersberg marble with the old woman statue was created as part of a local beautification .
