According to legend, the Angerkapelle was built around 1749 as a wooden chapel. In 1875 she had Anna Meilinger, who was in tetanus, rebuilt in her present appearance after she was healed.

According to Lahnsteiner's Oberpinzgau, the Felberkirche is the most interesting jewel in the Pinzgau region. Here you can find civil art from 1500 to 1800. The current church was built in 1479, but the Lords of Velben may have had a chapel here earlier. A net vault spans the main nave. At the intersection of the ribs you can see the coats of arms of the Salzburg noble families of Alm, Thurn, Hunt, Wisbeck, Neukirchen, Lang, Welser, Gold and Rohrwolf.

The Felber Tower (or Felberkasten) is the oldest surviving structure in Oberpinzgau and was built around 1150 by the Lords of Velben, who held it until it died out. When Emperor Otto III. allowed the knights and nobles in Germany to build castles, they began to build. The floor plan of the ruin is roughly square with 16 meters in a quarter. The masonry consists of stream stones, slate and gneiss; Solid cuboids have been used at the corners. The old entrance to the tower was not at ground level, but only reached via a retractable ladder. The floors were separated by beam ceilings.

The former parish church of Mittersill stood where the Evangelical Anna Church is now. Since it was repeatedly affected by floods and was ultimately badly damaged by fire in 1746, it was decided to build the church in a new, more protected place. A remarkable detail: according to the planning, the church should cost 8,300 guilders, but actually around 20,000 guilders had to be raised.

The furnishings of the earlier church have been almost completely lost, only a cast stone statue of St. Leonhard from 1420 has been preserved.

In earlier times the Meilingerhaus was the big trading house in Mittersill. The Meilinger was the largest salt depot for trade across the Tauern. The Meilinger also operated wine trading. Since you couldn't have a cellar in the market because it was so often full of water, he had his own cellar dug in Meilingerfeld below the Klausenbäck.

Meilinger used to be the most popular inn on the market, the farmers stopped here and there were all kinds of trade. When the salt and wine trade came to an end, Meilinger switched to the cattle trade. In the great Tauern accident in 1878, he was one of the main victims.
Today the house is privately owned by a restaurateur who runs a well-known gourmet restaurant in it.

The Harlandgut on the Sonnberg is a stately house, which one would not expect at this height. The ridge bears the date 1784. The building has two brick floors, above it a wooden floor and three carved corridors. There is a vaulted chamber on the first floor. It is colorfully painted with ornamental tendrils from top to bottom in early baroque style. On the north side there is a very faded fresco of the Madonna. The beautiful, iron door was brought to a museum in Salzburg, as were the various weapons that were kept in this chamber.

The judge's house is on the Sonnberg not far from the castle. In 1620 it burned down to the foundation walls, but all land records could be saved. All the clerk had to complain about was the loss of his driving skills , housing and stable. The building was rebuilt in the same year.

The Neidhäusl belongs to Mittersill Castle .

Because of the many agendas of the nursing office and the court, the parties in the castle or in the judge's house often had to wait a long time before being called. During the waiting times they could not go down to the market to refresh themselves or to have a drink, because it is too far and because it would probably have missed their call again. In 1599 the subjects (farmers) applied for bread and wine to be given to them at the castle. The archbishop allowed it. But that called the citizens on the scene, who did not like this preference for the farmers. The license was withdrawn. But the farmers didn't give up and kept looking for new ones. Finally, in 1793, an inn for the waiting parties was built between the castle and the judge's house. Since then, it is not without good reason that it has been called the Neidhäusl.
