The cross is on the rock below the church on the side of the tower. It is clearly visible from the street. It shows the Christian cross with the figure of Jesus and the inscription "INRI" above it. The background of the cross is blue, just as we know it from the box cross in Maria Kirchenthal.

The rectory lies at the foot of the church hill and in it a chapel with a barrel vault has been installed. In the past, weekday masses were often held here, as the hill was difficult to climb due to snow drifts. The statue of St. Joseph in this chapel was destroyed in a bomb attack in 1934.

The old parish hall stands in the middle of the village and is now an eye-catcher and a beautiful photo opportunity. It is a pure wood construction that was built using the block construction method that was taken for granted in the past.

The Dienten church stands in the middle of the valley on a hill, easily visible to the whole village. Contrary to the usual east orientation, this one faces south. It was inaugurated in 1505. The interior is covered with a fine ribbed vault. The altar is dominated by the figures of the church patron St. Nicholas, St. Rupert and Erasmus. An old bell from 1597 hangs in the tower. Another 3 bells are from 1949.

The old farmhouse, which has been lovingly restored, is probably one of the oldest in Dienten. Today it is a small museum, the centerpiece of which is the old flour mill. It is fully functional and the operation is also demonstrated during guided tours.
