The memorial plaque ( location ) was placed on the occasion of the construction of Loferer Straße over the Kniepass in 1614 with a relief of the coat of arms and an inscription by the builder Archbishop Markus Sittikus .

The Dreiländerstein just northeast of the Scheibelberg ( 1465  m ) forms the border point between Salzburg, Tyrol and Bavaria, Nro. CCIII marked 1818, 1844 with the Austrian and Bavarian national coats of arms.

The Muckklause is a small dam on the mountain pasture area of ​​the Winklmoosalm (Bavarian) at about 1180 meters above sea level. It was first built in 1792. After several renovations, it was placed under monument protection. It served the wood drift to Bad Reichenhall to supply the local saltworks with firewood.

The parish church stands in the middle of the cemetery on a valley step above the village. After a fire, it was rebuilt as a hall church in the Baroque style between 1758 and 1760, with older masonry being preserved in the east tower. The interior furnishings (high altar, two side altars, pulpit) also date almost entirely from around 1760.

The Kalchofengut is a Pinzgauer farm from the 15th century. In 1522 the Reichenhall landlord Adam Schweighofer sold the estate to the St. Jakob Church in Unken. In 1650 Christian Percht became the owner of the farm, which then remained in the same family for twelve generations. In 2011/2012 the farm was renovated and since then has served as a local museum and event location.

The Steinbach forms the natural border between Austria (Salzburg) and Germany (Bavaria). A narrow bridge leads over this stream, on the south side of which there is the marked boundary stone on the Austrian side. Immediately after the bridge on the northern side is the German or Bavarian boundary stone.
