Bangem is a community in Cameroon . It is located in the Sud-Ouest region and is the capital of the Koupé-Manengouba district .

Bangem is in western Cameroon. The extinct volcano Manengouba rises to the east of the municipality . Nkongsamba is about 10 kilometers to the southeast . The community is surrounded by rainforest.
