Bangouélamvouéra is one of the most westerly places on the island of Anjouan in the island state of Comoros in the Indian Ocean .

Bangouélamvouéra is in the inland of the western foothills of the island near Ntakoudja . In the south the heights of Chissouani , Mkirijou and Baheri rise .
