Bank house Böcking, Karcher & Cie

The banking house Böcking, Karcher & Cie in Kaiserslautern was founded by Kommerzienrat Karl Joseph Karcher (* 1841 Kaiserslautern, † 1899 ibid) and the merchant Ludwig (Louis) Böcking, who donated a large sum in 1872 to establish a kindergarten.

The building (as well as Villa Karcher ) was built under the leadership of the architect Josef Durm .

On October 29, 1929, it became a branch of Deutsche Bank .
