Ban plans Fricktal

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Fricktal ban plans are a set of maps of the Fricktal , which was recorded between 1772 and 1783. 23 map sheets were created. The surveyors were Joseph Leimgruber, Fridolin Leimgruber and Johann Garnie. They mapped the restricted areas of the Fricktaler communities, which at that time still belonged to Upper Austria . The Fricktal came to Switzerland at the end of 1802. In 1803 it was incorporated into the canton of Aargau .
