Bao Xun

Bao Xun Chinese  鮑 勛  /  鲍 勋 , Pinyin Bào Xūn is a character in Luo Guanzhong's historical novel The Story of the Three Kingdoms . In it he is a minister of the Wei Dynasty .

The warlord Cao Cao takes him in after his father Bao Xin was killed. Bao Xun is known for his boldness and always speaks freely from the liver, which often annoys his master. After Cao Cao's death, Bao Xun was demoted several times by his successor, Cao Pi , and was finally executed.
