history

The history of Bārād goes back to the 1990s. The musicians combined the elements of classical rock music with influences from Iranian folklore. At this time, "Biyābān" (desert) was one of the band's first songs. Several years of making music together followed, during which more songs were created. With "Biyābān" they took part in an audition of the Iranian independent label Hermes Records in the late 1990s / early 2000s . They released the singles "Leyva" and "Dar Har Rageh Man" (In all my veins) through the label . In 2003 Hermes released the debut album "Bārād". In January 2004 the band took part in a charity concert for the benefit of the victims of the Bam earthquake . The band was featured on the 2006 sampler “Rough Guide to the Music of Iran” with the title “Dar Har Rage Man”. Around 2006 the band announced their breakup, singer Mahmoudi began a solo career. Some of the musicians supported their colleagues from Meera in various live performances.
