Barawa Gyeltshen Pelsang ( Tib. 'Ba' ra ba rgyal mtshan dpal bzang ; born 1310 ; died 1391 ) was a scholar of the Upper Drugpa Tradition ( stod 'brug ) of the Drugpa Kagyü ( brug pa bka' brgyud ) School and founder of the Barawa Kagyu tradition in "Drangyekha in Paro" in the 14th century. He was a student of Surphugpa .

His collected works have appeared in fourteen volumes, including his encyclopedia Thar pa skor gsum .
