The Upper Drugpa or Tödrug ( Tib. Stod 'brug ) tradition or Drugpa tradition of Upper Tibet of the Drugpa Kagyu ( Tib. ' ), One of the so-called "eight smaller schools" of the Kagyu school of Tibetan Buddhism ( Vajrayana ) . brug pa bka 'brgyud ) -School was of Götshangpa Gönpo Dorje ( tib. rgod tshang pa mgon po rdo rje ; 1189 - 1258 ), a Mahasiddha the Drukpa Kagyu school and students of Tsangpa Gyare founded.
