Barbara Demeneix (born September 1, 1949 ) is a British-French scientist in the fields of biology and endocrinology . She is professor of comparative physiology and head of a research team at the Center national de la recherche scientifique research center in Paris .

Demeneix is ​​recognized as an expert in thyroid function and endocrine disruptors . She dealt extensively with the influence of hormone-changing substances on human beings.
