Barbara Geiser
Barbara Geiser (born April 20, 1948 in Langenthal ) is a Swiss politician ( SP ).
Life
Barbara Geiser was on the city council (legislature) of the city of Bern between 1989 and 1998, and in 1998 she was elected to the Grand Council of the Canton of Bern . In the same year she replaced the resigning Ursula Bäumlin in the National Council , but was not re-elected in the 1999 elections. From 2002 to 2008 she was a member of the management team of SP Switzerland. In 2008 she took a seat on the board of the Swiss Workers' Relief Organization , since 2011 she has been its co-president.
