Ursula Bäumlin (born May 12, 1938 in Bern , resident in Bern, Zurich and Bonau ) is a Swiss politician ( SP ).

Bäumlin was a member of the city ​​council (parliament) of Bern from 1984 to 1987 . On November 30, 1987, she was elected to the National Council of the Canton of Bern . There she was a member of the Finance Commission and the Foreign Policy Commission . On December 15, 1998, Bäumlin resigned from the National Council, and Barbara Geiser replaced her in the Grand Chamber.

The licensed philosopher is married to the theologian and former pastor at the Nydegg Church , Klaus Bäumlin, and has two children. She lives in Bern.

The SP politician and constitutional lawyer Richard Bäumlin is her brother-in-law.
