Barbara Jochheim

Barbara Jochheim (* 1954 ) is a trained mediator , as well as an independent lawyer and specialist lawyer for marriage and family law. She is the author of various works on family and contract law. For several years she taught at universities of applied sciences. She is also active in training and further education in mediation at home and abroad.

Jochheim was a councilor for the Greens in Freiburg im Breisgau , on the board of the Baden-Württemberg Regional Arbitration Court and was elected deputy chairwoman of the Federal Arbitration Court of the party The Greens in November .

In 2004/2005 she trained as an international peace expert. She has been working in the Civil Peace Service (CPS) since 2006, including many years in Zimbabwe, including until 2013 as a regional coordinator in southern Africa for the Weltfriedensdienst eV and in 2013/14 as an expert in the CPS for the Society for International Cooperation (GIZ) in Nepal to train community mediators.
