Barbara Noemi López (born April 5, 1991 ) is an Argentine javelin thrower .

Athletic career

Barbara López gained her first international experience in 2009 at the Junior South American Championships in São Paulo , where she took sixth place with a width of 34.94 m. In 2011 she took part in the South American Championships in Buenos Aires for the first time , where she also came in sixth with 49.25 m. In 2012 she came seventh at the Ibero-American Championships in Barquisimeto with 48.72 m and was then fourth at the U23 South American Championships in São Paulo with a throw of 47.02 m. At the 2013 South American Championships in Cartagena, she finished sixth with 50.67 m and the following year she finished seventh at the South American Games in Santiago de Chile with 49.14 m, as well as seventh at the 2017 South American Championships in Luque with 47 , 84 m.

From 2012 to 2015 as well as 2017 and 2018 López was the Argentine champion in javelin throw.
