Barbara Witow
Barbara Witow (born April 20, 1944 in Leipzig ) is a German stage, film and television actress and a voice actress .
Live and act
Born in Leipzig, she received her acting training in Munich and then went to stages in Ingolstadt, Koblenz, Bern, Bad Kreuznach and Munich. After that she no longer tied herself firmly to an ensemble, but worked as a freelancer. In addition, she took on radio roles, organized readings and was intensively active as a voice actress until the 2010s.
Almost at the same time as her stage start, Barbara Witow also appeared in front of television cameras. There she played an abundance of small to medium-sized supporting roles in individual productions in around a dozen years; she was hardly active in series. Her television career, which had not attracted much attention, ended as early as 1975. Barbara Witow has a son from a marriage.
