Wolf Euba

Wolf Euba (born April 3, 1934 in Nuremberg ; † January 24, 2013 in Munich ) was a German reciter , actor , director and author of radio features .

Life

Wolf Euba grew up in Munich. After completing his English and French studies and a Fulbright scholarship in the United States , he completed an actor's training. From 1962 he became known as "the voice of Bavaria" ( SZ ) because he worked for Bavarian Radio on radio and television as a speaker, director and author.

In literary and musical solo programs, Wolf Euba worked with the accordionist Maria Reiter , the cellist Heinrich Klug, the drummer Stefan Blum, the harpsichordist Michael Eberth , the Schwabing piano trio and the conductor Markus Elsner . In addition, he took on speaking roles in oratorios (e.g. In terra pax by Frank Martin ) and melodramas (e.g. Das Hexenlied by Max von Schillings  / Ernst von Wildenbruch ).

Wolf Euba died unexpectedly on January 24, 2013 in Munich.
