Bernhard Pfletschinger
Bernhard Pfletschinger (born August 18, 1946 in Mühlacker ) is a German feature writer and documentary filmmaker .
Life
Pfletschinger studied modern history in Munich and Rome from 1966 to 1972 and then initially took on a teaching position on behalf of the Italian Consulate General in Munich; In 1980 he received his doctorate in Italy from the University of Urbino . From 1979 to 1981 he worked as an assistant director at WDR and WWF . He is a freelance writer of radio and television plays and, since 1984, has also worked as a screenwriter and director of documentaries.
Since 2003, Pfletschinger has held a teaching position at the Institute for Media and Cultural Studies at Heinrich Heine University in Düsseldorf; in April 2011 he was appointed honorary professor there.
