Barbie Xu
Barbie Xu ( Chinese 徐熙媛 , Pinyin Xú Xīyuàn , W.-G. Hsü Hsi-yüan ; born October 6, 1976 in Taipei ) is a Taiwanese actress , singer and presenter .
Career
She entered show business with the girl group SOS (Sisters Of Shu), whose members are Barbie and her sister Dee Hsu, in the music genre mandopop . One of their albums was called "Abnormal Girls", after which they renamed themselves ASOS (Abnormal Sisters Of Shu). Together with her sister, she also hosted the talk show 100% Entertainment . She became famous for her first role in the TV series Meteor Garden as Shan Cai on the side of Jerry Yan . She speaks several languages ( Chinese (Mandarin) , Japanese , Korean , English ). She published two books on beauty and cosmetics, a photo book and a volume of poetry.
